Clipping systems for compressed air pipework
Compressed air systems are generally clipped to either the ceiling or internal
walls of the building. A suspended compressed air ringmain is hung via screwed
rod normally using a G-clamp (pictured) to fix to a roof purling. When clipping
to a wall a backplate is used to give a secure and firm fixing. In many cases
it is advisable to run the main header pipework at high level, this avoids knocks
and bumps from things like forklifts.

Slotted strut is sometimes used to offer
a firmer fixing or to run multiple lines tidily around a building.
In the past
we have collaborated with electricians to run pipework and electrics together
with overhead fluorescent lighting hanging below the compressed air
and extraction pipework.
In conclusion every compressed air installation is
different and each one needs careful planning. For further information and advice
